Zü is a mighty warrior of the forest tribe, fiercely devoted to protecting his village from the savage and warmongering coastal tribe who killed his beloved many winters ago.  Yet it seems the Gods did not want him to suffer in darkness forever.  When a strange golden-haired woman falls from the sky, his tribe see it as a great omen - a gift from the Goddess to the warrior in mourning. A gift that he refuses to accept.  Timid, shy and unable to speak their language, the offworlder must start a new life with the warrior who does not want her.
